I found this intriguing post on Sue Hanley’s blog, and decided to give it a shot.
I went to this page, and fed it with the whole content of my blog (yes, 3 months already!). As a result, I got the above picture – looks like a fish with a big “SharePoint” tatoo on its flank.
So, what does this tell me about my blog?
First, the central theme is SharePoint – well, definitely.
The second word by importance is “example”. I like that, as it is exactly what I want for my site: practical, ready-to-use content. As a trainer, I favor examples, hands-on training and workshops.
What else? Well, I see several technical words, such as HTML, script, sourcecode, etc. As a business consultant, I’d like my blog to be more business oriented. So this is something I’ll try to correct by putting more emphasis on best practices.
It’ll be interesting to see what the picture looks like in 6 months from now…
If you want to try this out on your blog: note that if you use the URL field, the result will be based on your RSS, not on the full content of your site.
Excellent definition of a great site!
