Today I decided to test in SharePoint 2010 the Image Rotator I released yesterday. I just followed the instructions and filled out the form:
http://www.pathtosharepoint.com/sharepoint-user-toolkit/Pages/Image-Rotator-Lite.aspx
It worked like a charm, I didn’t notice any difference in behavior between SP 2007 and SP 2010.
Of course, we have to wait until the final SharePoint release in a few weeks to confirm it. But this is pretty good news and I couldn’t wait to share the result!
Christophe,
I have really benefitted greatly from your site. There are so many great solutions you provide to make SharePoint more functional that OOB just do not exist.
Question, can the image rotator be configured to open a new window when the user clicks on the image like your old rotator did?
Thanks for the note, I have added this to my to-do list.
Is it possible to add text along with the image to create a news rotator effect like on msn home page?
I see that they use to types of rotators
1. Tab based
2. News Rotator based
Thanks
The current version allows you to include text along with the image.
For a tab based rotator, check out the Autoplay option of my Easy Tabs v5.
Hi,
Is it possible to format so the description displays beside the image? My text seems to partially be wrapping under the image.
Thanks
Elspeth
